Kerepok is a popular seafood crackers in Terengganu and it is become one of the most common snacks especially among local people. There are have three types of kerepok, which is including of kerepok lekor, kerepok goreng and kerepok keping. All of this types is made of fish meat, ground to a paste, and mixed with sago.
Kerepok lekor is mainly among them, which is boiled in large pots. Usually, kerepok lekor prepared in long chewy ones forms and it is best eaten hot with its special chili dip.
Picture above showed the Kerepok Goreng. Actually kerepok goreng is also same as kerepok lekor, but it is fried to make it become more delicious as well as kerepok lekor, best eaten while its hot with its special dip or known as Pencicah.
The last type of kerepok is Kerepok keping. It is prepared in different forms than kerepok lekor, which is its form is thin and more crispy ones.
There are also many varieties of kerepok keping, which is the taste are depends on different types of fish are used.
Normally, the visitors who are visit Terengganu during holiday school or weekend will not miss the opportunity to obtain and purchase kerepok sold around the state.
