Pada 25 dan 26 Jun yang lepas, saya telah menghadiri satu kursus yang bertempat di Bandar Kuala Terengganu. Kebetulan ianya di adakan sewaktu hujung minggu, maka saya telah membuat keputusan untuk membawa keluarga bersama sambil dapat memberikan mereka peluang untuk bercuti di hujung minggu di Bandar Pesisir Pantai yang sangat indah ini.
Pada kebiasaan orang, masa yang di ambil dari Bandar Kemaman ke Bandar Kuala Terengganu hanya melibatkan 2 jam setengah sahaja untuk sampai, tetapi kami memperuntukkan masa yang lebih dari biasa kerana kami lebih gemar pemanduan yang lebih relaks dan santai sambil menikmati pemandangan yang indah di sepanjang perjalanan yang melalui pesisir pantai ini.
Terasa tenang apabila dapat melihat laut yang membiru terbentang luas sambil dapat menghirup udara yang segar. Sedar dan bersyukur dengan segala nikmat yang Allah telah berikan, ketenangan dan kedamaian yang dikecapi adalah datang dari Allah semata - mata.
Pada kali ini, kami telah diberi peluang untuk menginap di Hotel Grand Continental yang sememangnya tidak asing lagi di kalangan pelancong dalam dan luar negeri kerana lokasinya yang terletak berhampiran dengan pantai.
Hotel ini juga adalah salah satu hotel yang terkemuka di Bandar Kuala Terengganu ini dan merupakan antara hotel yang menyediakan frasarana dan intrastruktur yang lengkap kepada pelanggannya. Pelbagai jenis bilik yang ditawarkan kepada pengunjung, dan kali ini kami telah memilih bilik yang mempunyai 2 katil solo untuk saya dan keluarga.
Bagi mereka yang menginap di hotel ini, akan diberikan 2 kupon makan pagi percuma yang membolehkan anda merasai pelbagai makanan yang disediakan di sini. Kebanyakan masakan yang disediakan adalah mengikut citarasa Terengganu dan kami sangat berpuas hati dengan masakan yang di hidangkan kerana rasanya yang enak dan kena dengan selera kami.
Oleh kerana saya perlu menghadiri kursus yang diadakan, saya telah meninggalkan anak - anak untuk bermain kolam ditemani isteri. Di hotel ini, terdapat 2 kolam yang di sediakan untuk kegunaan para pengunjung yang menyewa bilik di hotel ini, yang mana kolam kanak - kanak agak kecil berbanding kolam untuk orang dewasa.
Memandangkan tiada sesiapa yang bermain kolam sewaktu anak kami ke sana, menyebabkan mereka agak bernasib baik kerana dapat bermain dengan keadaan yang lebih selesa.
Secara keseluruhan, kami amat berpuas hati menginap di hotel ini dan berhajat untuk datang lagi ke sini sekiranya diberi peluang. Selain dapat meluangkan masa bersama keluarga, kami juga dapat menikmati pemandangan yang indah dan damai sambil menghirup udara yang segar di tepi pantai. Mengharapkan kecantikan ciptaan Allah ini akan berkekalan dan dijaga dengan baik supaya ianya akan kekal dalam keadaan baik dan dapat dinikmati oleh generasi yang akan datang. InsyaAllah.
