KUALA TERENGGANU: A total of 14,000 civil servants employed by the Terengganu state government and all its agencies will receive a special financial assistance of RM500 each to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilftiri.
Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said the payment of such allowance involved an allocation of about RM7mil which would be paid out before Hari Raya.
"The Executive Council (Exco) meeting today had discussed the matter and had approved the payment which would be made before Hari Raya or next week," he told reporters after chairing the weekly State Exco meeting, here Wednesday. - Bernama
